Company Information
United is headquartered in New Jersey and has been in the window and door space since 1951. The company distributes their products through local dealers throughout New Jersey and lots of surrounding states. While their premium window and door series are certainly decent, United's mid range and lower end offerings leave something to be desired.
United Windows And Doors
United offers the following replacement window options: 9600 double hung composite, 7400 double hung vinyl, and 6000 casement window. In terms of new construction windows, they make and sell the 9600 double hung hybrid composite, 6000 casement, 5900 & 5800 double hung, as well as the 3900 & 3800 single hung. Additionally, United has their Bold Collection. This is an all black window frame that can be ordered in the 9600, 6000 and 3900 window series.
United Windows Warranty
The United window warranty is a limited lifetime warranty on the mainframe, insulated glass unit, sash (if applicable), as well as all components and hardware. Specifically, the warranty says that these parts of the window (or patio doors) will not contain manufacturing defects.
Additionally, homeowners can transfer the United Windows warranty to a second homeowner. However, once this happens, the warranty term is 10 years from the install date. Like every other warranty, exclusions and additional terms apply.
