Anlin Windows Warranty

Anlin offers a very solid warranty for their vinyl windows. It is a Limited Lifetime Warranty (everyone in the industry labels their warranty this way so it makes sense for consumers to dig deeper than this to get the pertinent details.) Their warranty covers the frame, the sash and the components over the lifetime of the original owner. The warranty also includes an accidental glass breakage provision, which is a definite plus for consumers. For the first fifteen years (from the original purchase date), the warranty is transferrable. As with all replacement window warranties, there are limitations and exclusions that consumers should read and be aware of prior to purchasing your windows.

Castle Windows Warranty

The Castle warranty lifetime warranty is very solid. It covers the frame amd most parts and components for the lifetime of the window. As well, the warranty is transferrable to another homeowner if you should sell the house. Perhaps best of all, it is not pro-rated - meaning that the percentage of the repair cost that the consumer must cover does not increase over time (eventually rendering the warranty more or less useless.)

Gentek Windows Warranty

Gentek vinyl replacement windows come with a lifetime limited warranty that covers the mainframe, sash and all of the components. The upgraded exterior color frames are warrantied for 10 year against fading. Consumers can purchase optional glass breakage warranty provsion as well. There are a number of exclusions and exceptions to the warranty that consumers should know and understand before purchasing Gentek vinyl windows.

Monte Verde Window Warranty

The Monte Verde window warranty covers the frame, sash and components for the life of the window. This Limited Lifetime Warranty is transferrable, although the new owner is only covered for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is not quite as strong as the Anlin Warranty, which is understandable given the lower price point on the Monte Verde model.

Polaris Window Warranty

Polaris windows carry a Limited Lifetime Warranrty against manufacturer defects on the mainframe and sash. The company agrees to repair the product, although this does not extend to screen damage or glass breakage. The warranty extends to the insulated glass units for a period of 30 years. IGU units that have mini-blinds are warrantied for a period of 10 years. The company does not cover the labor or installation costs involved in swapping out defective windows. The warranty is transferrable to another owner for a period of 30 years, although it is unclear whether the Polaris window warranty carries the same terms for the second owner.

Okna Window Warranty

The Okna window warranties the vinyl extrusions and sash for the Lifetime of the window against manufacturing defects. The factory paint and the custom colors are warrantied for a period of 10 years. The insulated glass unit is also warrantied for life as well. The Okna warranty is fully transferrable and honestly is one of the better warranties on the market.

Windsor Window Warranty

Windsor provides a warranty for each of their three window models. For instance, the Pinnacle Series includes a 10 to 20 year warranty on the insulated glass (with an optional 30 year upgrade), 20 years on the extruded outside finish, 10 years on all components and two years on painted white interior.
