Windsor Windows Prices In 2026
Explore Windsor Windows prices on their three main window series - the Pinnacle wood clad Series, the Legend PVC Cellular, and the New Dimensions vinyl window. Windsor is probably best known as a wood and wood clad window manufacturer. Often, Windsor is used as the "economy" wood window option at local window dealers, with Anderson, Marvin and Kolbe as the higher end wood clad window manufacturers.
Bottom Line: Windsor has had issues over the years (as many wood window manufacturers have), which does bring with it some hesitation. However, with proper home maintenance, these windows should hold up well over time and often come at a reasonable price point.

Windsor Window Ratings
Windsor windows are going to get decent but not stellar window ratings. For the Pinnacle wood windows, consumers can expect a 0.35 U factor, 0.20 SHGC and .46 VT with a low-e glass window and argon fills. Windsor Windows Warranty
Windsor provides a warranty for each of their three window models. The Pinnacle Series includes a 10 to 20 year warranty on the insulated glass, 20 years on the extruded outside finish, 10 years on all components and two years on painted white interior.

The Legend composite window carries a 20 year warranty. For the insulated glass, 25 years on all components, 10 years on materials and workmanship defects and 10 years on all factory interior paint. The new dimension vinyl window carries a limited lifetime warranty on all materials and workmanship, as well as being transferable to a new owner (although the warranty is only good for 10 years to new owners.)

Windsor Windows Prices | Pinnacle Series
The Pinnacle wood window series is available in three different options, either as a Primed, Clad or in the Select model. The Clad option comes in 22 exterior colors with eight anodized finish options, as well as several interior wood species that include Douglasfir, natural Alder and Pine.
The Pinnacle select window is only available as a casement and includes several nice upgrades that include a push out option (for egress application), a BetterVue screen, sturdier rails and sashes and an overall more durable design and construction. The Pinnacle is comparable to the Pella Proline Series.

Bottom Line: The Alliance Hawthorne appears to be the strongest pure value at $28,000, while the Okna 500DX is the editor's preferred overall choice for someone willing to spend more for a higher-quality vinyl window. Windsor Pinnacle only makes sense here if wood-clad construction is a priority.
Kellan, the best deal/value is probably the Alliance Hawthorne. The one I would probably select though the the Okna option. The Windsor Pinnacle is the only option if you're set on wood windows. However, I think these are a waste of money based on how long they typically last.

Bottom Line: At approximately $1,100 per window for a full-frame installation, the Windsor Pinnacle quote was considered a very good price for a quality wood-clad window. Homeowners who do not require real wood may still want to compare high-end vinyl windows with wood-look interiors for potentially lower pricing and better energy efficiency.
Dan, that's actually a very good price for the Windsor Pinnacle Wood Clad series with new construction installation. That installation can be $300 a frame, which gets you to $800 for the window. This is pretty standard for a quality wood window. One note here: a high quality vinyl window that a wood interior laminate will cost less and get much better energy efficiency numbers. The really good ones do a great job at mimicking the look of a real wood species.

Windsor Legend Complaints
A decade ago we installed Windsor Legend Series windows throughout our home on the thought that these would hold up well over time (at least that's what the sales guy promised). Our experience has been extremely disappointing and this is putting it mildly. The manufacturing quality is clearly poor - the screens don't fit and we've had all kinds of issues with opening them (double hung windows).
To their credit, the company that installed them have come to several times to help us figure out what the hell is wrong with these things. But despite multiple service visits, the company’s solution has been to mask the defects rather than correct them. On top of that, the window sashes feel loose even when locked and rattle -- it's like their balance is all out of kilter. Needless to say, this has been an ongoing frustrating and unacceptable experience. FYI.

Windsor Windows Prices | New Dimension Vinyl Series
The New Dimension window series comes in the standard model, the classic option and the pro model. The classic series includes even sight lines and a slightly more narrow frame. The pro Morrow is a unit frame construction with a T mold design. It includes multi chamber vinyl extrusion, a 2 3/4 inch frame with, a fusion welded frame, integrated left handles and a pocket sill. Consumers may want to consider some other vinyl window options in addition to the New Dimension model, only because there are so many companies that focus exclusively on making efficient and durable vinyl windows. Northern Virginia Replacement Windows Cost
Hi Tom, we’re getting ready to replace the windows in our home in Northern Virginia. The job includes 18 double hung windows, one sliding glass door, and 5 picture windows. So far, we’ve narrowed things down to ProVia, Windsor and Sunrise. The Andersen 400 quote ended up being more than we wanted to spend, and we previously had some issues with Pella fiberglass, so we ruled those out. We haven’t really looked beyond these options. Appreciate a;; your time and insight you can share.
We’re talking with three different contractors right now. The third contractor won’t use Sunrise at all, mainly due to the delays and some concern about Sunrise being sold to MI Windows. All three companies have solid reviews online and we’re still waiting on a couple of additional price quotes, but here’s what we have:

Willis, I would almost say that you need to pick the contractor first before getting the merits of the windows themselves. Let's assume that the contractors are totally equal in all aspects. Then it's just to the windows. The ProVia Aspect at $17.8K is my number one. Number would would be the ProVia Endure at $19.9K, and my number three would be the Sunrise Restorations at $21.K. My number four would be the Windsor New Dimension vinyl window at $19.4K, but honestly I would advice sticking with the first three options.
