The Cambridge series is the company's "premium" vinyl window series. In truth, I would consider this window a solid mid range offering.

Viwinco Cambridge Windows Reviews
What is your overall impression of the Viwinco Cambridge series? A local company series this as well as Sunrise windows. They said that the Viwinco is there more budget brand but I didn't see the difference between this and the Sunrise. I asked which model they carry is for Sunrise. He says it's just their standard model anyways the pricing was about $200 difference per window all set and done. Read our Sunrise Windows reviews -

Janice, it's an interesting question because that price difference is quite a bit. The Viwinco Cambridge is definitely of less quality than the Sunrise series. However, I'm not quite sure about the $200 difference. This might make the Cambridge the better value overall. My choice between these two would come down to how long you plan to stay in your home. I think if it's 10 years or less the Cambridge option is probably the better use of your money. This is of course assuming that the company doing installation has good reviews except you indicated that it's the same company for each. I think if your timeline in the home is over 10 years, then the Sunrise makes a little more sense to me.

Is the Viwinco Oceanview a good option for impact windows or are there better brands out there?

Anne, there are better brands out there such as ES Windows, PGT and CWS. But Viwinco makes a good impact window at a nice price point. I think this is where they excel. I would definitely get a bid if I were you in order to compare it to other local options!

A Contractors View
In my personal opinion Viwinco windows are typical "builder grade" windows which offer low quality and performance. Many contractors choose these windows because you can get them at your local Home Depot store and enable the contractor to offer a reasonable quote which is appealing to home owners. I would put Viwinco in the same category as Harvey, Silverline, Alside and MI Windows. If you are looking for energy efficient windows that offer durability and are good quality, take the time to look at Gorell, Sunrise, Okna and Soft-Lite.
You should take the numbers into consideration when choosing windows to find the right solution for your next project. A double pane should offer a DP rating of at least 50 or higher, an air leakage rate of .07 or less and a U-Factor of .28 or less.
